Customer Reviews
Good stuff, but shipping was a bit slow
i was looking for some new Replacement Tuning Pegs and Folkcraft had a pretty decent selection, better than what I found at Prussia Valley. the price was good and applying my newsletter code in the cart was easy. just wish it didn't take so long to actually get here, almost a week longer than I expected.
Good instrument, shipping ok
I bought a Mountain Dulcimer from Folkcraft after looking around for a while. The instrument itself is well-made and sounds lovely, really happy with the craftsmanship there. It took about 6 days to reach me here in California, which is acceptable, but not super fast. Packaging was very secure, no damage at all. My only minor gripe is the selection of songbooks felt a little limited for advanced players, but for a beginner, it's probably fine. Overall a solid purchase.
Great value on accessories
I was looking for some new dulcimer strings and a gig bag, and Folkcraft had a deal where I got free shipping on the strings if I bought a certain amount. The padded gig bag was also on sale, which made a big difference. It felt like I saved a good chunk of money compared to other places I checked. Everything arrived quickly, and the quality is good. Definitely worth the purchase for someone trying to stick to a budget.

planning to buy a few books and maybe some strings. do they offer free shipping on smaller orders or do you have to hit a certain amount?
Thinking of ordering a custom dulcimer, but I need it before a festival in late August. Anyone know how long those usually take from order to delivery?
Hey, I'm looking at getting my first dulcimer, Folkcraft looks good but kinda pricey. Do they ever have sales or discount codes for instruments, not just accessories?
Are Folkcraft dulcimers really made in the USA? I've seen some other brands that say that but then it's just assembled here from parts made elsewhere.
Hey, I'm a complete beginner, never played an instrument before. Would a Folkcraft dulcimer be a good starting point, or is it too fancy for a newbie?
